Vent-A-Hood ® Magic Lung® Whisper Quiet Technology
The patented Magic Lung® blower system sets Vent-A-Hood’s kitchen ventilation systems apart from all other range hoods and range canopies. The Magic Lung has become an industry standard in range hood blower technology, and stands up against the rest.
Quiet
Turn on a Vent-A-Hood® and you’ll hear only a whisper of air movement, because the Magic Lung® system provides the quietest kitchen ventilation available. Vent-A-Hood®s with the Magic Lung® range hood technology also feature SensaSource®. SensaSource® raises the blower speed from low to high based on temperature for optimal grease control, fire safety, and even quieter operation. Vent-A-Hood’s® Magic Lung® “multi-blower technology” allows CFM to double, triple, or quadruple with very little effect on sound levels.
Efficient
The powerful Magic Lung® blower traps all cooking contaminants, liquefies grease vapor, and removes heat-polluted air. The Magic Lung® blower combines sufficient air pressure and constant speed with centrifugal filtration. Because it doesn’t pull air through a filter it is the most efficient kitchen ventilation available today.
Easy-Cleaning
The Magic Lung® housing snaps apart for easy cleaning in the dishwasher or with warm, soapy water. Moreover, the Magic Lung® is the only ventilation system that collects the grease in an easily cleaned housing rather than in hard-to-reach areas behind a mesh or baffle filter.
Fire-Safety
The Magic Lung® is the only residential kitchen ventilation system on the market today that prevents fire from spreading to the rest of the home. Constant speed creates centrifugal pressure that prevents fire from entering the ductwork. As needed, SensaSource® increases blower speed to its normal level to maintain this safety feature.

Magic Lung® blowers can be configured to provide the power you need for even the most demanding residential cooking surfaces. Each highly efficient Magic Lung® blower supplies 300 CFM of air movement. Multiple blowers can be combined in a single Vent-A-Hood® to create the perfect kitchen ventilation for your cooking surface.
Special Notes: LED lights. This model is not available with heat lamps. Shown with optional duct cover (sold separately). Optional duct covers are available in standard and custom sizes. Galley rail included.
